Suggested method for deck installation

The socket supplied with the Breezecatcher is ten inches long, there is a bolt fitted along its length so the dryer will sit seven inches down into the socket. The socket can be connected to the joist of the deck by using two U-bolts shown in the image below, you will also have to remove the bolt that is supplied with the socket and and replace it with a coach bolt long enough to fit through the socket and also through the joist of the deck. The top rim of the socket can be left just below the surface of the deck.
